IBM, ETH Zurich save energy with water-cooled supercomputer (EETimes)
IBM and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zuerich) have built a water-cooled supercomputer. By re-using the waste heat instead of cooling it away into the atmosphere, the computer consumes 40 percent less energy than conventional ones.
